    Patricia Mbogo is the founder and CEO of Mbogo Coffee Limited, and one of Kenya's leading voices on coffee value addition and specialty market access.

    Her connection to Kenyan coffee is not incidental; it's inherited. Patricia's family has farmed coffee in Lower Kabete, Kiambu, since the 1960s, a heritage she discovered only after founding Mbogo Coffee, and one that reframed the company entirely: not as a new entrant to the industry, but as a fourth-generation family continuing a relationship with Kenyan coffee that predates independence.

    That foundation shapes how Mbogo Coffee operates. Rather than treating coffee as a commodity, Patricia built the company around value addition, taking Kenya's exceptional Arabica further up the supply chain through direct sourcing, export-grade processing, roasted coffee production, and private label manufacturing. The result is a business that connects international buyers directly to verified Kenyan origin, with the commercial capability to supply at scale.

    Patricia also serves as Chairperson of the Roasters Craft & Value Addition Community-Based Organisation (ROCVA CBO), where she leads industry collaboration and advocates for entrepreneurship and value addition across Kenya's coffee sector.

    Mbogo Coffee Limited was incorporated in 2023. The family's stake in Kenyan coffee goes back four generations.
