Our founder's great-grandfather farmed coffee in Lower Kabete, Kiambu, a heritage discovered and embraced only after Mbogo Coffee was founded. That discovery reframed the company not as a new entrant to the industry, but as a continuation of a family story already four generations deep in Kenyan coffee land.
That heritage shapes how we work today. We build direct, trust-based relationships with estates, cooperatives, and unions, so every shipment carries a clear line back to the farms it came from. Coffee, for us, is legacy-building, not a purely transactional trade.
